High Performance Car Workshop located in Tonbridge, Kent.
We carried out the supply and installation of air conditioning to the workshop and offices of a high performance specialist workshop.
To the workshop we supplied and installed a ducted air conditioning split system to provide summer comfort cooling, and winter heating of the space.
The ductwork was supplied to be internally thermally insulated. Not only does this provide a clean and aesthetically pleasing installation, but it also prevents sweating of the ductwork.
If thermal insulation was not installed to the ductwork, then the cooled air conditioned air would cool the metal work of the ducting and condensation would form as a result of the cooled metal work coming into contact with the warmer room air.
Due to the nature of our customers work, it was a requirement that the installation was capable of providing adequate summer cooling, and winter heating whilst maintaining a low dust environment with minimal air disturbance.
A ducted air conditioning system was the logical system choice to satisfy the requirement.
